We have been vegetarian most of our lives and Vegan for about ten years, and are now
heading towards Rawfood, but the temptation of chips and Booja Booja chocolates keep
thwarting us.

Because of this we use no animal byproducts in the making of our jewellery and as I’m sure
you have noticed it is mostly about nature. We like to think we live as ethically as we can
and certainly it seems to suit Holly and Miranda too :)

I first started making jewellery as a very small child, out of bits of heather, sea weed and
Hawthorn blossom, which never seemed to last very long. Later I progressed onto felt and
Bead jewellery.
I have always made and sold my designs to family, friends and customers, having my first
At Stockton church grounds on a weekend. My family and I have traveled through many
Ancient sites within this country and I think you can tell, my work is influenced by them.
Later in my career I did jewellery design and craft at Cleveland College of Art and Design
Where I also learnt to teach the skill.
When I left there, I taught jewellery making among other subjects for adult education for a
Number of years, before settling down to re-start my own designs and interests with Square
Hare
